Charles F. Lillibridge, age 73, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at his winter home in Yuma, Arizona. He was born on October 4, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to Fred S. and Betty L. (Shinn) Lillibridge.
Charles graduated from Wichita High School North, Class of 1960 and he received his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University, Class of 1965. Following college Charles went on to work for The Fleming Oil Co. and South Central Oil Co. He was recruited by Libbey Glass Co. in Toledo, Ohio where he later moved to and worked for before starting his own company, Custom Deco.
After retirement, Charles and his wife, Kathy loved to travel in their RV home, they traveled to 50 states and 9 Providences in Canada. Before wintering in Arizona, they spent many winters in Florida and often visited Disney World. He enjoyed being with his friends and family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Kathy Lillibridge; son, Craig (Dawn) Lillibridge; daughter, Christine Wilcox; grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon and Andrew Lillibridge, Noah and Lucas Wilcox; sister, Kathryn Frazier; niece, Jenny; nephew, Curt and canine companion, Cody. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive guests on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
