Charles Cook, 91, of Toledo Ohio, died December 21, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born on August 12, 1930 in Arnett, West Virginia. He served in the United States Army right after world war 2 in Germany for six years in the canine corps. Charles married Ellen Workman in 1955. He retired from Johnson Battery Co in 1990.
Charles loved the Lord and wanted to share his faith with everyone he met. He loved to play the guitar and mandolin and would frequently visit nursing homes to entertain residents. Charles loved growing tomatoes, reading, social media, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughters Arica and Deborah, and grandchildren Scott and Danielle. He is survived by his wife Ellen, sons Michael (Dawn), Timothy, and Stephen, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
