Charles Browne

Charles Browne, age 61, of Toledo passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Flower Hospital. He was born March 28, 1949 to Dr. Kenneth and Kathryn (Croll) Browne in Toledo. Charles was raised in Whitehouse, Ohio and graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1966. He served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1983. Charles was a lifetime member of the VFW, PVA and the DAV. He was a current member of American Legion, Post #289.

Left to cherish his memory are his 5 sisters, Patricia Heness, Constance Studer, Barbara Mucci, Kathryn Browne and Jeanne Hager and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
