Chad Richard Dudderar, age 48, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2023, at The Toledo Hospital. Chad was born on June 1, 1974, in Toledo, Ohio to James and Mary Ann (Wernimont) Dudderar.
Chad graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1992. With only a couple of jobs throughout his life, he found his niche at American Interiors, where he was a dedicated and hard worker for almost 29 years. Chad was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post, where he was part of their dart league and in his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling at Glass Bowl Lanes. He loved going out on his boat, where he spent time fishing on Lake Erie. As an avid outdoorsman, he also liked to hunt, golf, and go mushroom hunting. Chad enjoyed tending to his garden where he would grow a variety of vegetables, flowers, and plants. Above all, family was most important, especially his daughter, Callia, who was truly his most treasured gift; he was genuinely an amazing father! All those who were lucky enough to have known him will miss Chad's smile, love, laughter, cooking, and hugs. He always knew the right thing to do and many people would turn to him for support. This is not goodbye, rather we'll see you again!
Those left to forever cherish Chad's memory are his loving fiancé, Sarah Warden, whom he has been with for 16 years; his beautiful daughter, Callia Dudderar; mother, Mary Ann Dudderar; two sisters, Jennifer (Jason) Fitzgerald and Lori (Brent) Mullins; nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Meliah and Nehemiah Mullins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also survived are his second family, The Gillen's.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Dudderar.
