Chad D. Beeckman

Chad D. Beeckman, age 31, of Toledo, formerly of Swanton, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at home. He was born on November 11, 1984 to Jamie Traczyk and Rebecca Beeckman in Toledo. Chad was an avid lover of dirt bikes; both riding and racing. He loved college football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. Chad had a great sense of humor, helping his neighbors, enjoyed working out at the gym with his sister, Madisyn, taking his sister Macie to softball outings, and fishing with buddies. He loved nothing more than spending time and weekends with his family, especially Kaleigh.

Chad is survived by his parents, Jamie (Kim) Traczyk; sisters, Ashley (Kevin Vanderdonck) Beeckman, Madisyn, Macie and Tanya Traczyk; daughter, Kaleigh Hickman; step-grandparents, Sharon O'Brien and Charlie (Gerry) Brown; special cousin, Tera (Joe) Mermer and their children; canine companion, Hazel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Beeckman; brother, Shane "Shorty" Beeckman; grandmother, Judith Beeckman; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Mary Traczyk; and best friend, Casey Sharples.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
