Cecelia Carnes

Cecelia M. "Marie" Carnes, age 64, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Toledo Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1951 to William and Elizabeth (Marsalko) Caster in Toledo. When she wasn't taking care of her family, she enjoyed creating and selling arts and crafts. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, drinking tea in her back yard and caring for her furry friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Charlie "Squeek" (Dawn) Carnes and Donnie (Amy) Carnes; daughter, April (Russell) Betzer; grandchildren, Vanessa, Victoria (Kyle) and Brandon, Tiffany (Mike), Ashley (Spencer) and Jared (Sam); Chuckie and Cameron; siblings, Louise, Bill (Janey) and Robert. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Arthur Carnes and sister, Betty Ann.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
