Cathy Lynn Armstrong

Cathy Lynn Armstrong, age 55, a lifelong resident of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10th, 2011 at her home. She was born May 16th, 1956 to Don and Shirley (Hochmuth) Armstrong. Cathy was a 1973 graduate of Bowsher High School and was formerly employed with Treu House of Munch, Inc. In her younger years, she was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time at Clark Lake in Michigan. Cathy also enjoyed her involvement with the Lucas County Board of Elections. When she had time, she loved gardening, cooking and caring for her precious cat, Jared.

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Don Armstrong and brother, Jeffrey Armstrong. She is survived by her loving mother, Shirley Armstrong; sister, Cynthia (James) Thurston of Scottsdale, AZ; fiance, Dan Brewer; sister-in-law, Kathleen Armstrong and 1 niece; 3 nephews and several loving cousins.

The family will receive guests Monday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900) with Memorial Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor James Wicker.

Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park will be private.
