Cathy Larnhart

Cathy Louise Larnhart, age 81, of Toledo, passed away December 22, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, surrounded by her loving family. Cathy was born March 19, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Clinton and Florence (Nigh) Goyer. Cathy's mother passed away following her birth. Cathy was raised with help from her grandparents Clinton H. and Evelyn Goyer for the first seven years of her childhood. She then moved to Allen Park, MI with her father, Step Mother and Sister, Lois Goyer. In 1947 the family moved to Bakersfield, CA due to her father's health concerns. Cathy Graduated from Bakersfield High School, 1950.

Shortly after High school she married Dan James and raised two children in Fresno and Santa Cruz CA. In 1981 she married Larry Larnhart and settled in Toledo. She was a friend to Bill W. since 1990.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband Larry for 34 wonderful years; her children from California, Linda James-Chang (Walton) San Francisco, CA, Curtis James (Gerty) Santa Cruz, CA; two grandsons and two granddaughters; and one great grandson and one great granddaughter; her family from Toledo, Step children, Todd Larnhart (Patty), Kelly Whaley (Jay Jr.); five granddaughters and one grandson; two great grandsons and two great granddaughters; brothers, David, Paul, and John Goyer.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Lois Sephton.
According to Cathy's wishes, the family has arranged for a simple cremation with no visitation or services. Her wishes were to be remembered as she was in life, a wonderful wife, friend, loving mother and Step mother, totally devoted grandmother, and friend to everyone with a smile that could light up any room. Cathy will be going home to her mountain in Bonnydoon overlooking Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, CA. "Thank you for 34 wonderful years...
