Catherine Wolff

Catherine J. "Cathy" Wolff, age 54 of Toledo, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. She lived her life to the fullest, always marching head on to the tasks that were given to her. Cathy became an RN and even though her career was cut short due to a decline in her health, she was ultimately a caregiver to anyone who needed help.

She met and married her best friend William "Willie" Wolff, and together they shared 36 wonderful years. Everyone around Cathy and Willie could see and feel the love that they shared with one another. Cathy's pride and joy was her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she always lit-up when they walked into the room.

Cathy is preceded in death by her mother, Becky; sister, Cindy; brothers, Keith and Paul. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted and loving husband, Willie; father, Arnold; daughter, Barb (Rob) Moye; grandchildren, Craig, Catherine, Tyler and Cheynne; great-grandchildren, D'Cameron and D'Kasheon; sister, Laurie; 19 nieces and nephews and numerous in-laws that were like brothers and sisters to her. Also surviving are many friends that Cathy made through the years, especially Jenny, Tammy and Tonya.

The family will receive guests Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Cathy's family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, the care that was provided to Cathy during her journey was wonderful.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Wolff Family.
