Catherine M. Clark

Catherine M. "Cathy"(Baumer) Clark, age 66, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice Residence, where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 14, 1947 to Merle and Margaret (Reichow) Baumer in Toledo. She attended Whitmer High School. Cathy was a school bus driver for Washington Local Schools for 25 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed quilting and had won numerous awards and ribbons at the county fairs. For several years, Cathy was a member of Quilts of Compassion and her sewing talents had contributed to many charitable works. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and golfer, having participated in various leagues. Cathy was a member of Heritage Church of God. Her family will remember her as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Clark; daughters, Angela Sue (Ron) Villarreal and Jodie (Edward) Shlicoff; grandchildren, Brooke, Austin, Michael and Katya; great-grandchildren, Lana and Rozlynn; sisters, Marsha and Pam; brothers, Ron and Lester; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends from over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth E. Clark.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Andy Hill officiating.
