Catherine Geis, age 90, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at Sylvania Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 10th, 1920 to the late Anthony and Josephine Parson in Chicago, Illinois.
Kaye was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Smokey" Geis; son, James; sisters, Anne and Agnes. She is survived by her son, John (Theone) Geis and daughter, Pat (Frank) Rosebrock; brother Anthony; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Services will be private.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Sylvania Care and Rehab for the wonderful care of Kaye.
