August 31, 1928 — January 15, 2013

Carolyn Lou Williams passed away Tuesday January 15th at Foundation Park Care Center in Toledo. Carolyn and her twin sister Marilyn were born August 31, 1928 to Harry and Mabel Priest Duffey in Maumee Ohio. She graduated from Pemberville High School and always considered Pemberville, Ohio to be her hometown. In her youth Carolyn was, a Sunday school teacher, active in the Methodist Church, and avid member of the YMCA Hiking Club and. Carolyn and Albert Williams wed in 1950. She was employed by the DeVilbiss Company as a credit correspondent for ten years before leaving to have a family. While raising her family she was volunteered with the PTA and Mothers Club at Walbridge Grade School in Toledo. She rejoined the workforce and continued her career at the Bunting Brass and Bronze Company until her retirement.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Albert, brothers, Ellis(Evelyn) Duffey, Arthur (Dorothy) Duffey; sisters, Margaret Duffey, Rachel Duffey and Marilyn (Harold) Carr; and daughter-in law, Roxanne (Dale) Williams. She is survived by daughter, Deborah (John) Noward; sons, Alan, and Dale (Dawn Courtney) Williams, and much loved grandson Christopher Williams. Carolyn is also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Foundation Park for their tireless care of Carolyn these last few years. Those wishing to make a memorial in Carolyn's name may do so to the charity or organization of their choice. A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held in the future, date to be announced.
