Carolyn Todd

Carolyn R. "Carrie" Todd, age 69, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 31, 1938 to Elmer L. and Amelia C. (Majeska) Ziegler in Toledo. Carrie was bookkeeper with Dr. James D. Diethelm's office for 26 years until retiring in 2004. She loved to work in the yard, gardening and her dog Maggie. Carrie was known to her grandchildren as Grandma TT and she loved nothing more than spending time with them and the rest of her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Todd, Jr., daughter, Monica Todd and sister Joanne Anderson. Carrie is survived by her loving children: Sherry Todd, Robin (Tim) Whitney, Scott (Carla) Todd and Jill (Brady) Martin; grandchildren: Sarah, Zachary, Matthew, Joshua and Jacob; brother: William Ziegler; and many extended family member and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300) from 3 – 6:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at the Toledo Hospital on floor 7-South for all of their loving care and compassion given to Carolyn and her family through this difficult time.
