Carolyn Robie, age 72, passed away August 1, 2015. She was born May 22, 1943 in Toledo to Edward D. Flaczynski and Helen C. (Walczewski) Miller. Carolyn graduated from Woodward High School in 1961. She worked in many fine restaurants, Mancy's, Fifi's, Matthew's, Shawn's Irish Tavern, her favorite job was manager of The Toledo Press Club. Carolyn was honest, hardworking, kind and artistic, a true lover of life. The greatest love of Carolyn's life was her children and family. She also enjoyed gardening, decorating, cooking and music.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Robin (Tim) Zdybek, John Robie and Greg (Deann) Robie; grandchildren, Matthew (Holly), Nicole (Michael), Gavin, Hannah, Haley and Noah; and 3 and one on the way great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Mae (Dick) Jarchow and Edward Flaczynski; former daughter-in-law, Wendy; special nieces, Denise and Jennifer and their families; the children of Paul Sielschott, Carolyn's soulmate, protector and best friend.

The family will receive guests, Friday, August 7, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 10:00 am. in the funeral home.
