Carolyn Martin

Carolyn J. Martin, age 68, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2006 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1938 to Frank and Christine (Cummings) Fountain in Toledo. Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and was very talented in ceramics. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her stepfather, Alvin "Bus" Watson; baby sister, Sharon and brother-in-law, Gene Demar. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Robert E. Martin; children, Chris James-VanSant; Sheri (Doug) Jay; Glenn Peterson; Keith Peterson; Brooke (Tracy) Schlipf; Robert Martin, Jr.; Leslie Martin; Eric (Michele) Martin and Lorrie (Bob) White; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and sister, Joanne Demar. Carolyn is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 11:00-1200 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Memorial Service will begin Thursday at 12:00 p.m. Officiating will be Fr. Cryan.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
