Carolyn L. (Hayes) Palmer-Kohler

Carolyn L. (Hayes) Palmer-Kohler, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2023, at Aspen Grove Assisted Living in Lambertville, Michigan. Carolyn was born on November 7, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Edward and Louise (Reimer) Hayes.
Carolyn graduated from DeVilbiss High School, class of 1949 and had worked as an office manager for many years. She was a member of the VFW and Conn Weissenberger Post 587. Carolyn enjoyed playing games, especially dice with her children and grandchildren. Her love and smile will forever be missed. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later…
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving children, Jeffery (Deborah) Palmer, Christopher Palmer (Staci Howard), and Pamela (Ronnie) Meyer; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; step-daughter, Betty Crocker; step-son-in-law, Mark Wojcinski; niece, Sandy (Gary) Smith; and many friends and loved ones who will truly miss Carolyn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard E. Palmer; second husband, Hubert Kohler; sister, Elaine Wills; and brother, Robert Hayes.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Aspen Grove and care taker, Sue Whittenburg for their love and care they provided to Carolyn.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Carolyn's funeral service will take place on Friday, February 17, 2023, at the funeral home, at 10:00 am. Following the service, Carolyn will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
