Carol L. Struble, age 83, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 20, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Harold and Alma (Fulton) Vanderluit.
Carol was a Libbey High School graduate. She had worked as a monitor for Washington local school bus and was a room mom. Before retiring, she worked as an accountant for Toledo Trust. Carol enjoyed traveling and camping with her family; they would go to the Smokey Mountains, Ship Shawana, and the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, along with many other fun filled trips. A love for family, family was number one. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, David Struble, whom she married on June 21, 1957; two children, Terri Chase and Mike Struble; two grandchildren, Nicole Chase and Travis Chase; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Harold (Dorothy) Vanderluit Jr.
Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio, 43617, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am, where her funeral will be at 11:00 am, with Pastor Cindy Ritter officiating.
