Hillsdale, Michigan

Carol Ann Smith, age 86, of Osseo, MI, formerly of Toledo, passed away January 30, 2025, at Advent Health Tampa, FL where she enjoyed spending her winters. She was born March 13, 1938, in Toledo to Gerald and Edith (Clifford) Myers. Carol was a 1956 graduate of Libbey High School and a 1959 graduate of the Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse for Parkview Hospital for 22 years. 

 In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Smith; grandson, Andy Smith and brother, Paul (Beverly) Myers. Carol is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Christine) Smith, Timothy (Tina) Smith and Todd (Monecca) Smith; grandchildren, Erica (Victor), Erin, Ryan (Tori), Sam and Joseph; and five great-grandchildren.

 The family will receive guests, Saturday April 12th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., in the Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614 (419-381-1900). A brief tribute will follow at 3:00 p.m.

 Memorial contributions may be made to your local Hospice in Carol's memory.
