Carol A Petoskey, 76, passed away February 19, 2024 after lengthy illnesses. Carol was a graduate of Libbey High School, class of 1966. She worked for Medical College of Ohio as a Physical Therapist Assistant until her retirement in 2005. She was a member of St Lucas Lutheran Church for the past 40 years. She loved the Michigan Wolverines football, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Dallas Mavericks. Carol loved her weekly lunches with her siblings and weekly breakfasts with friends.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother of 10, and great-grandmother of 2. Carol is survived by her husband of 58 years Harold Petoskey; sister Linda (Dave) Posadny and brother Jack (Kelly) Palmer; Children, Dawn (Gene) Keeler, Shawn Petoskey, and Becky (Ralph) Cairl; grandchildren, Mandi (Jonathan) Sollinger, Bryan Petoskey, Brandon Petoskey, Justin Opdyke, Robb Cairl, Hope Cairl, Riley Cairl, Shannon Keeler, Jesse Keeler, and Shane (Marcee) Keeler; great-grandchildren, Izzy and Kellan Sollinger. Carol was preceded in death by her parents Alvin Palmer and Margaret Rose, stepfather Jerry Rose, and grandmother Berdall Wolfe. She was under the care of Hospice in her final days.
