Carol Markiewicz

Carol Elcessor Markiewicz, age 66, formerly of Toledo, passed away Friday April 9th, 2010 after a courageous five year battle with lymphoma. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; children, Erin (Greg) Telecky of Bowling Green, Ohio; Jeffrey Joseph and partner of Junko Sensui of Seminole, Florida and Heather (Greg) Steenrod of Toledo, Ohio. She was much loved by her grandchildren, Melissa, Maddie and Jared Telecky, as well as Drew, Annabel and Alexander Steenrod and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annabelle Elcessor and brother, Reid.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Final prayers will be recited in the funeral home Friday at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane. Officiating will be Fr. Herbert Weber. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
