Carol L. Howard

Carol L. Howard, age 70, of Toledo, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 11, 1941 in Toledo. Carol was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #83, Sandusky. She was an avid boater and snow mobile and enjoyed going up north with her husband. Carol loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Rease. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Harry Howard; children, Donna Greer, Cindy Meadows and Robert (Jill) Howard; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cody, Christine, Misty, Christopher, Shawnna, Madisen, Zachary, Lexi, Christa and Caren; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kallista, Peyton, Kamryn, Abilene and Leonalee; and canine companion, Max.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
