Carol A. Keller

Carol A. Keller, age 82, passed away on August 22, 2024. Born in Fond du Lac, WI to her parents, Carl and Mercedes Schuster. Carol and Tom got married in Wisconsin and moved to Arkansas for Tom’s first job, where they started their family. They were blessed with three daughters. Carol spent roughly ten years teaching in several different schools throughout her career. Carol enjoyed being a part of local organizations in her community, welcoming newcomers and being a part of her local activities; as they moved, Carol would always join new groups to help others in her community. After Tom retired, he and Carol travelled the United States, seeing most of the National State Parks, which she enjoyed very much. Carol and Tom regularly spent their winters in Ft. Myers, FL to escape the cold weather. She also enjoyed singing, wherever her family lived, Carol always joined the choir at her church. Carol was also a member of Sweet Adaline’s.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Carl Schuster and Mercedes Schuster and her brother Daniel Schuster.

Carol leaves behind her beloved husband of 60 years Thomas “Tom” Keller; children, Barbara (Scott) Felten, Kathleen (Tim) Woods and Ann (Dave) Ice; she leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Neal Schuster, Mary Janusz, and Jane Pedersen

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church at 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
