Carol Jean Johnson

Carol Jean Johnson, age 71, of Toledo, passed away, Tuesday, October 19th, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born February 13th, 1939 to Albert J. and Minetta L. (Roleff) Byram in Toledo. Carol was employed with Libbey Glass for more than 10 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher in her younger years. Carol enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Johnson, Sr. and her son, James K. Hosick, Jr. She is survived by her loving sons, John; David; Bobby and Daniel Hosick, all of Toledo; grandchildren, Bryant; Garrett; Ashley; Joshua and Haley; brother, Albert Byram and dear friends, Patricia; Joyce and Glenda.

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg for the loving care and support they provided for Carol.
