Carol Ann Hayden

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Carol Hayden, age 80, known to those who loved her most as Memaw, on June 12, 2024. She was born in 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Rogers High School and The University of Toledo, with an Associate’s in Psychology. She married Richard Hayden in 1966.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Richard; children: Stephanie (William) and Robin (Micheal); grandchildren: Samantha (Joseph), Katherine, Charlotte (David), Alexis (Scott), Richard (Marissa), and Courtney (Brandon); her 5 great-grandchildren; and her dearest friend, Kay.

Carol will be remembered most for the love she had for her family and the way she made those around her feel cherished and appreciated. She had an amazing sense of humor and she loved to laugh. Her grandchildren were all her greatest joy and she loved being their number one “hype man”. She will be missed by many, but the impact of her life will be felt forever!

A celebration of life will be held June 17th at Newcomer Funeral Home on King Rd., from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Boystown.
