Carol E. Hessey

Carol E. Hessey, age 65, of Toledo, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 16, 1946 to Rudolph and Evelyn (Sauer) Yunker in Toledo. Carol was a LPN for 10 years at Lake Park. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Carol enjoyed word searches, painting and spending time with her family. She loved nothing more than the time spent with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, James Hessey; daughter, Karen (Ken) Fein; grandchildren, Stacie (Saul), Jeffrey (Jessica), Jessica and William; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Aubrey and Amelia; brother, Tom (Cheryl) Yunker, Sr.; niece, Jamie (Chad); nephew, Tommy Jr. (Lisa); great nephews, Nicholas and Shawn; great-niece, Mackenzie; and many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
