Carol Ann Eversole

Carol Ann Eversole, age 69, of Toledo, passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at Ridgewood Manor, Maumee. She was born October 3, 1938 to Elton and Eunice (Higby) Wert in Toledo. Carol graduated from Libbey High School in 1955 and continued her education attending and graduating from Davis Business College. She was a loving wife and mother, enjoying time spent with her family. Carol was also a wonderful cook making get-togethers and holidays quite enjoyable. She was a very giving person and a friend to many people who knew her well and some that she never had the opportunity to meet. Her many friends remember her because when she passed through a room she left a wake of happiness and joy. Carol was a longtime member of Emmanual Baptist Church, where she will be truly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Ann Eversole. Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Robert "Everbob" Eversole; sister, Betty Pat Johnson and several nieces, one nephew and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday and Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday ay 11:00 a.m. at Emmanual Baptist Church, 4207 W. Laskey Rd., where guests are invited one hour prior. Officiating will be Pastor Bruce Snyder. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
