Carol A. Butler

Carol A. Butler, age 60, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born June 25, 1946 to George and Chrissie Schmieser in Toledo. Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, making sure that each one of them knew how special they were to her.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Schmieser. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Butler, Sr.; children, Richard Butler, Jr.; Sherri Sprague; Mike Butler and Kristy Ownby; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Basinger and brother, Tom Schmieser.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg.
