Carl K. Wandersee

Carl K. "Butch" Wandersee, age 77, passed away on March 5, 2015. He was born on January 8, 1938 to the late Matilda and Arthur Wandersee in Toledo, Ohio.

Carl retired after over 30 years as a Pipe Insulator with Insulators Local Union 45. He was a proud veteran of the Navy. Carl will be remembered for his off the wall sense of humor. His family enjoyed how he included his sense of humor into holiday and birthday cards. Carl enjoyed cooking Sunday breakfast for Linda, watching cowboy movies and winters in Florida.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his son, Kenny; sister, Jeannette; brothers, Harley, Robert and Russell. Left to cherish his memory is his loving companion of 23 years, Linda Walker; his children, Renee, Joneé, Mike (Becky), Karl "KK", Kelly (fiancé, Mark); grandchildren, Gabrielle, Mikey and Markey; dear friend, Carol; nephews, Ralph and Jeff; Linda's children, John, Jim, Randy, Vicki and Debbie.

The family will receive guests from 3-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Entombment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
