Burdel Myron Andrews

BurDel M. "Andy" Andrews, age 80, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on August 7, 1935 to Delmar and Burnetta (Barnes) Andrews in Toledo. Andy proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He later went and worked for Dana Corp. in the paint department for 30 years, later retiring. Some of his passions were vegetable and flower gardening, tending to his tropical fish and visiting with his neighbors, especially Matt, Jan, Jack and Marie.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years, Ella (Owen) Andrews; children, Samuel (Angie) Andrews, Anthony Thomas Foster (Karen Reno) and Jennifer (Juventino) Lopez, III; step-son, Mike Matzinger; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and his dog, Lily. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Ryman.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
