Buddy "Love" Vitek, age 71, of Sylvania, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at Foundation Park Care Center. He was born on May 19, 1940 to Virginia Siek in Toledo. Buddy was an avid fisherman and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Wilburn. Buddy is survived by his loving wife, Jane Vitek; children, Tina, Shari (Joey Massingill), Rodney (Rachel), Michael, Matthew (Stacie) Vitek; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.
A Memorial Service for Buddy will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 time and place still to be determined. The Newcomer Funeral Home (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
