Bruce V. Romer, age 67, went to be with his Lord on November 10, 2014. He was born on March 9, 1947 to the late Ruth (Enbody) and Wayne Romer in Toledo, Ohio.
Bruce was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Navy. He retired from CNH in April 2012. Bruce's faith was very important to him and he enjoyed attending Sunday worship at Swanton Alliance.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his brother, Ken Romer and first wife, Carol. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 17 years, Diana; children, Paula (Tom) Jahns, Wendi (Bill) Klocinski, Darryl (Diana) Russell, Gary (Debbie) Russell and Dawn (Bob) Shepherd; grandchildren, Dylan, Emily, Kodi, Arkadia, Amanda, Taylor, Gary Lee, Heather and Riley; special sister, Barbie and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Pastor Curt Bowman officiating.
The family requests memorial donations be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
