Bruce Simon

Bruce C. Simon, age 23 of Phoenix, Arizona and formerly of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2011 in Phoenix. He was born April 18, 1988 to John Simon and Rebecca (Kerlin) Simon. Bruce graduated from Bowsher High School in 2006 and shortly after joined the U.S. Marine Corps. He was pursuing a life-long passion with motorcycles and was a current student at The Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix. Bruce had hoped to one day own his own shop where he would design and build motorcycles. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and his ability to help others enjoy the moment. You could not help but like him as a person when he was around you. His family and friends will dearly miss him and are thankful for the time they were able to spend with him.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, John Simon and Becky Simon (Bob Hyatt); very special sister, Kaitlin, to whom he was very close; half-brother, Mark (Pam) Simon; step-brother, Bryan Hyatt and step-sister, Jessica Hyatt; paternal grandma, Johanna Simon; maternal grandma, Anna Kerlin and step-grandma, Sharon Hyatt; nephew, Christopher Simon and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandpa, Stephen Kerlin and step-grandpa, Mike Hyatt

The family will receive guests Sunday from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
