Bruce Pottel, resident of Delta, OH, born March 17,1955, passed away on March 21, 2023 unexpectedly at home, at age 68. Son of the late Albert and Minnie (nee McIntosh) Pottel. Beloved husband of Jean Lohman. Cherished brother of Nancy (Ray) Heath, Thelma Arend, and the late Eddie Wood.
Bruce was the owner/operator of a residential water well drilling business, retiring in 2017. Bruce's knowledge and many varied skills were remarkable.
Bruce loved animals. A life long dog owner, of which many were older rescues that he gently attended to. He may have rescued the dogs, but ultimately the dogs rescued him.
He avidly watched the wildlife in his yard, and he especially loved the sound of the hummingbirds.
Also surviving are his nephews Thomas (Emily) Arend, Jason Heath, Brian Heath and niece Dr. Taylor (Dixon) Stoddard, along with six great nephews and nieces Theodore, Van, Aiden, Jackson, Reagan and Riley. Special regards to Kathleen Reynolds.
Celebration of Life will be held in Bruce's honor on:
