Bruce A. Vergiels

Bruce A. Vergiels (Dr. B), age 61, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Toledo Hospital. He was born on March 23, 1955 to Robert and Virginia Vergiels in Toledo. Bruce graduated from Ida High School in 1973 and then went to Lake Superior State College graduating with his Associates Degree in Natural Resources. He was a painter for 36 years. Bruce was an avid fan of all sports, especially loving to play basketball.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Barb (Kaczmarek) Vergiels; daughter, Melissa Vergiels; grandson, Tino Vergiels; mother, Ginny Vergiels; and brother, Bobb Vergiels. He was preceded in death by his father.
There will be no visitation for Bruce, per his request. Private Services will be held at a later date. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family professional services.
