Bruce A. Stelter, age 47, of Delta, passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 in Fulton County Health Center. He was born August 12, 1959 to Gus and Virginia (Ransom) Stelter in Toledo. He was the Director of Engineering at the Wyndham Hotel for 23 years. Bruce enjoyed coaching and watching his sons play baseball. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his home. Bruce was a fun-loving and caring individual, having many hobbies and projects always underway.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gus Stelter and brother, Ransom "Randy" Stelter. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Brenda A. (Detrick) Stelter; sons, Brandon; Bruce, Jr. and Brent Stelter; mother, Virginia Stelter; sisters, Karen (Rick) Martens; Cheryl (Steve) Schermerhorn and Chris Stelter; in-laws, Gayle and Clarence Holste; "Jimbo" and Teri Detrick, Jr.; Debbie Detrick; Judy and Bill Donovan; Diana Detrick; Pam and Mark Bauer; Jana Detrick; Bill Detrick; Stephen Clark and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Lauman. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
