Brent James Skinner, age 50, passed away February 24, 2023 in Sylvania, OH. Beloved son of Michael (Anna) Skinner and Karen S. Kennedy. Adored soulmate of Joseph B. Krauzer II. Treasured father of Kayla N. Skinner. Cherished brother of Todd M. Skinner.
As a child, Brent loved spending time swimming in his family's pool, and enjoyed the sunshine at the beach. Brent played the drums, piano, and glockenspiel in grade school and took his musical interest into his adulthood, with his love for music and specifically Elton John. Brent and Joey met in 2007, and went on to spend 16 wonderful years together. They spent their time camping and working outside on their gardens and in their community. Brent would selflessly help his neighbors with their household needs. He will be remembered for his kindness and selfless heart. Brent will be dearly missed by his family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel at 4150 W. Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.
Immediately following, a funeral service for Brent will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. also at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel at 4150 W. Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.
Brent will be laid to rest with his grandparents at Toledo Memorial Park.
