Brenda Lee Stevenson

Brenda L. Stevenson, age 70, of Oregon, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, August 2, 2019 at St. Charles Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1949 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Clayton and Linda Mae (Lawson) Anderson. Brenda enjoyed taking care of her beautiful rose bushes and yard before her health started to decline. She loved to root for her favorite teams - Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Indians. Most important to Brenda was her family, she loved them dearly and always put their needs before her own. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them when she could.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Paula (Vince) Lewinski and Paul Jr. "Bub" (Kristy) Stevenson; grandchildren, Clinton, Kaylee, Jessica, Vinnie, Chrislyn, Michelle, Nicole and Clayton; great-grandchildren who affectionately called her Mamaw, Noah, Kaedence, Rilee, Leon, Adalai and one expected in winter of 2020; brother, Vernon (Selina) Anderson; canine companions, Baby and Apollo and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 48 years, Paul L. "Biggie" Stevenson; daughter, Sheila Hamblin; infant son, Lane; infant grandson, Paul L. Stevenson, III and sister, Doris Scott.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Paul L. Stevenson, Sr., in St. Ignatius Cemetery.

Brenda's family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff at St. Charles Hospital and also to Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the care that was provided to her in her last days.
