Brenda Rae Nichols, age 53, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully Monday, September 16, 2019 at home surrounded by loving family. She was born on March 12, 1966 to Leola Schook in Tecumseh, Michigan. Brenda enjoyed traveling, boating, singing and dancing. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her children. Brenda's smile and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Terry Nichols; loving children, Taylor (Natalie), Amber, Autumn and Skylar Short; brother, John (Lori) Gilliland; former spouse and father of her children, Timothy Short; best friends, Melinda (George) Truchan, and her children, Chelsea (Jeff) Ulfig, Heather (Jared) Grandy and Racquel (Cole) Knaup and baby Harper and Melissa (Rodney) Smith Gwyn, and her children, Sarah, Megan and Christopher Binkerd; many nieces, nephews and other dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mom.
There will be no visitation per Brenda's wishes. A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel (419-392-9500) assisted the family with professional services.
