Brenda Gail Kelsey

Brenda Gail Kelsey, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away December 28, 2023, at Ayden Healthcare of Toledo. Brenda was born July 28, 1949, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Pearlie (Hunter) Smithers.
Brenda retired from Jac Products in Maumee. She enjoyed eating Mexican pizza from Taco Bell, collecting Avon, and her fur child, Joey.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her daughter, Theresa Ricco; granddaughter, Kristen Brunner; step-daughters, Molly Buckner and Gina Epperson; sister, Juanita Smithers; step-sister, Bonnie Bennett; sister-in-law, Sandra Smithers; step-brothers, George Truman and William Truman; nephews, Raymond Smithers, Philips Smithers, Joseph Smithers; nieces, Angie Smithers and Crystal Smithers; many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip Smithers and Thomas Smithers.
The family will receive guests on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
