Brenda J. Smith

Brenda Jean Smith (nee Keener), age 60, of Toledo, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, November 19, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born August 16, 1953 in Toledo to Roy and Dorothy. She retired from Champion Spark Plug in Burlington, Iowa. Brenda loved gardening, cooking, playing cards and spending time with her family.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kelli (Kevin) Beins, Son, Paul Keener, brother, Royce (Monica) Keener, sisters, Charlene (Ray) Brown and Cindy (the late Alfred) Simon, granddaughter, KaTreise Beins, grandsons, Kayden Beins and Daryn Keener; step mother, Blanche Keener; She was also survived by many loving family , friends and her dogs Rocky and Prissy. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents Roy Keener and Dorothy Smith.

Funeral Service Saturday, November 23rd, 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northwest Chapel 4150 W. Laskey Road, Toledo.

Her family will receive guests from 3:00 pm until the 7:00 pm Service.
