Brenda Lee Chase, age 71, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice, in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on April 9, 1950, in Carthage, Tennessee, to the late Roy Lee and Emily Imogene (Lawson) Boles.
Brenda graduated from Whitmer High School. Following high school, she furthered her education, becoming a cosmetologist. With her passion for hair, she opened up her own salon, where she was the owner of Hot Heads Hair Salon. She was an active member of St. Thomas Aquines Catholic Church, in Tennessee, where she faithfully attended until she no longer could when her health declined. Brenda was an avid gardener who was very creative and artistic. She always enjoyed getting together with her siblings and playing cards. Brenda will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her children, Randy (Sandi) Binder, Jennifer (Rick) Loftis, Kimberly (Michael) Callihan, Megan (Erik) Andelman, Sandy Landry, and Tracy Powers; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four siblings, Patricia (Jim) Wood, Donna (Tim) Nolan, Dave (Joan) Boles, Mike (Wendi) Boles; and her furry companions, Lucy and Greta.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Arthur Chase.
Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, where her memorial service will be at 4:00 pm.
