Bradford "Brad" Krieger, age 76, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, August 14, 2023 at home with loving family by his side. He was born on December 3, 1946 to Harold and Alice (Glenn) Krieger in Toledo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War.
He was employed with GM Powertrain for over 33 years before retiring. After retirement he owned and operated Brad's Place for many years. Brad enjoyed hunting, golfing and attending all of his kids and grandchildren's sporting events. He was an avid Whitmer Panthers fan. Brad loved nothing more than spending time with all of his family, especially his grandkids, who affectionally called him "Papa". Brad's quick wit, sense of humor and smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His dedication to his wife, daughters and entire family will live on in their hearts forever!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Meiner; and siblings, Carol Marginean, and Pat Krieger. Left to cherish Brad's memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Sue Krieger; daughters, Heidi (Tony) Revels, Alicia (Jeff) Nelson and Rachel Krieger; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary (Pam) Krieger, Diane Ritenour, Fred (Tina) Krieger, and Cindy (Bill) Borer; special nephew, Mike Hill; and many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
