On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Mr. Booker T. Levesque Jr. of 621 Winthrop Street in Toledo, Ohio entered eternal rest at his home surrounded by loving family. Mr. Booker suffered a (CVA) stroke July 2, 2019 subsequently receiving supportive compassionate Hospice care.

He was born May 7, 1926 in Wynne, Arkansas to the union of the late Booker T. Sr. and Leola (Jones) Levesque.

Mr. Booker was an avid reader. His expansive book collection includes an array of subject matter not limited to history, religion, suspense and how-to manuals. Some of his favorite hobbies included playing championship poker and pool with his friends. He had a passion for music-all things blues. His favorite gospel song was "Oh Lord I want you to help me". Mr. Booker didn't travel much and was not fond of air travel. As fate would have it, he took his first plane ride at age 90. He traveled to Washington DC and toured the White House. He also enjoyed the sport of boxing and was able to visit the Muhammad Ali center in Louisville, KY, which he enjoyed immensely. Mr. Booker thanks Southwest airline for helping to make his trip even more memorable by allowing him to sit in the cockpit!!!!!

Mr. Booker was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. His advice to many "Be careful what you ask for-you just might get it!". He experienced profound joy interacting with his grandchildren, great-grands, and great-great-grands.

Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his wife Ollie Mae Curry-Levesque and together they raised a family of 11 children. Five of which are deceased, Barbara, Renee, Tommy, Ed Louis, and Doris Jean; siblings, Douglas, Lucille, Nathaniel, Robert, Geneva Crump, Georgia L.
