Bonnie Jean Wyatt

The family of Bonnie J. (Greiger) Wyatt, 69 of Toledo, Ohio, is deeply saddened to announce her passing on June 9, 2022 in Maumee, Ohio. Bonnie was born on June 28, 1952. She was the only child of William "Bill" and Margerite (Desimpelaere) Greiger.
Bonnie was a 1970 graduate of Woodward High School. In 1974 she began her 41 year career with Toledo Tool and Dye. She retired in 2015 as the longest serving worker that was not a direct family member to the owner. On Jan 5, 1990, Bonnie married the love of her life, Vernon L. Wyatt. They were happily married for almost 30 years before his passing in 2019.
She loved to collect Elvis memorabilia, angels, and anything to do with dogs. She loved music, camping, traveling, bowling, and baking. Bonnie loved baking cakes for birthdays and other celebrations. You never left her house without some sort of freshly baked treat. She won many awards for her cake decorating. She loved spending her time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-nieces and great-nephews. Bonnie will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, aunt, and friend.
Bonnie will be lovingly missed by her children, Joshua (Barb) Wyatt of Swanton, and Mandi (Daryl) Bojanowski of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Dylan, Tristan, William (Liam), Trevor, Holly, Reynold, April; nieces and nephew, Linda, Sylvia (Daniel), and Shawn; her dear childhood friend Sue Kosolka; her dog, Sadie; along with many cousins and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon and son, Kenneth "Ken" Wyatt.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Lakes of Monclova Legacy for the love and care they showed Bonnie. She was so happy with the family she made there.
To keep with Bonnie's wishes there will be no formal services at this time. The family does plan to have a Celebration of Life to honor both Bonnie and Vernon at a later date.
With Bonnie's love of dogs and the support she had for the Humane Society, we ask that donations be made to the Toledo Humane Society in her name.
