Bonnie L. Dyer-Achinger

Bonnie L. Dyer-Achinger, age 70, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1945 to Eugene and Hazel (Blosser) Riffle in Zanesville, OH. Bonnie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; her family was her pride and joy. She was a lifelong Auxiliary Member of the VFW, American Legion and AmVet's. Bonnie was the angel that brought her entire family together, always putting their needs before her own and loving everyone unconditionally.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joe Achinger; children, LaVern (Kenji) Dyer, Brenda (Billy) Gorden, Holly Achinger, Connie (Mark) Carter, Phillip (Rachael) Buehrer-Achinger and Kimie (Drew) Rometski; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister in law, Joyce Harwood. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Riffle and sister, Carolyn Riffle.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
