Bobby R. Sumner
Bobby R. Sumner, age 69, passed away Sunday, August 15th, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born September 5th, 1940 in Kenvir, Kentucky to Joshua and Maude (Stoner) Sumner.
Bobby retired from TARTA in 2005 after which he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, going camping and playing golf. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Patricia Dutcher and Ruby Turk. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sue Sumner; son, Michael (Melanie) Sumner; daughter, Brenda (Bobby) Cleveland; grandchildren, Kelvin Sumner; Richard McClain; Ashley McClain and Cody Cleveland; brothers, Ralph Sumner; Ronnie (Debbie) Sumner and Johnny (Irene) Sumner and sister, Fran (Jim) Poling.
The family will receive guests Thursday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
