Blanche F. "Busia" Kusz

Blanche F. Kusz, age 92, of South Toledo passed away surrounded by her loved ones, June 14, 2024. Blanche was born February 3, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, into a family strong in the Catholic faith. She was proud of her Czech heritage. Blanche worked for Willys-Overland before meeting the love of her life, the late Kenneth. It was her passion and joy raising her four children alongside Ken. She later went back to work for Kimberly Clark for over twenty years. Blanche actively assisted her community as a voting booth volunteer, and spent many years as a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.

Left to cherish Blanche’s memory are her sons; Kevin (Kathleen) Kusz and Keith (Gina) Kusz; son-in-law, Ken Toth; she is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth Kusz; daughters, Michelle Toth and Laura Kusz; grandson, Brandon Kusz; siblings, Betty, Dorothy and Ann.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following, at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.

Blanche will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
