Beverly S. Dickens

Beverly S. Dickens, age 85, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She was born on November 12, 1927 to Jacob and Marguerite (Lauffer) Wolf in Toledo. Most precious to her was her family, they will remember her as a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. When she wasn't spending time with her family, she enjoyed flower gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard (Liz) Dickens, Jr., Sheryl (Steve) Richard, Sr., Robert Dickens, Ronald "Radar" (Linda) Dickens, Michelle (Thomas) Moore and Melanie Shawn (Michael) Bowlin; grandchildren, Steven, Kristen, Sarah, Jami, Danielle, Michael, Spencer, Nicholas, Jenifer, Jacob, Rylie, Andrew, Michael Shawn and Ryanna and great-granddaughter, Ava. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard E. Dickens, Sr. in 2001; two sisters, and three brothers.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4030 Douglas Rd.
