Beverly Ann Ostrander

Beverly Ann Ostrander, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, July 15, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Toledo. Beverly was born November 9, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Verna (Priest) Stokes.

Beverly was a member of Toledo First Seventh-day Adventist Church. A simple woman, she loved being outside, listening to the beautiful sounds of the birds. Most of all, her family was most important. The memories that were made will forever live on within her children and grandchildren. Her love and smile will forever be missed by those who were blessed to have Beverly in their life. 

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving children, Gale (Linda) Ostrander, Barb (Matthew) Emch, Carol (Jim) Miller, Don (Jean) Ostrander, Allen Ostrander, and Luann Ostrander; brother, Chris (Valerie) Chase; son-in-law, Joe Yelverton; twelve grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew; and many special friends.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Ostrander, whom she married in 1953; daughter, Patsy Yelverton; and son, Robert Ostrander.

Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Monday, July 22, 2024, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Beverly’s funeral service will be Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Following the service, Beverly will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
