Beverly A. Moharter, age 65 of Toledo, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 18th, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee. She was born June 27, 1946 to Oren and Betty (Gottschalk) Williams in Toledo. Beverly married Jon A. Moharter on January 24, 1987. Beverly worked for various companies over the years as a secretary, some of those companies include Owens Corning, The University of Toledo and Toledo Public Schools. She enjoyed participating in craft shows and was known as the "apron lady," having sewn many aprons for family and friends. Beverly was a member of the Ladies Shrine, Dendarah Court #10; serving as High Priestess in 1999. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Maumee and Ladies Auxiliary, Conn-Weissenberger Post #587.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Jon A. Moharter; daughters, Jennifer (Nitin) Malhotra and Jacquelyn Massey; sons, James (Robin) Moharter and Patrick (Karen) Moharter; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Pamela Williams and Linda (Jerry) Gruber; brother, Jack (Susan) Williams; mother-in-law, Betty Moharter and special friends, Cheryl and Bob Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Wendell Moharter.
The family will receive guests on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 112 E. Wayne St. in Maumee. Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Pastor Paul Doerfler officiating.
